Innovative Article Types
Adis are pleased to welcome a wide variety of innovative article types, offering authors varying avenues to explore beyond traditional publishing options. These innovative article types can be considered by all Adis journals and undergo the same rigorous peer review as our other article types.
Innovative article types allow authors to showcase research in diverse ways while maintaining the same rigorous standards of peer review.
Adis offer podcast articles for the growing audience of digital natives who prefer to consume content “on the go” in audio formats. Vodcasts can also be considered if authors prefer a video format.
These standalone, commentary-style articles typically involve authors discussing a topic of clinical relevance, such as a clinical trial, pivotal manuscript, or advances in a particular therapeutic area. With their own DOI, podcast articles are published on SpringerLink with the audio file embedded within the HTML and the discussion typeset and published as a “regular” article for readers who prefer text-based media.
To maximise reach, open access podcasts are also hosted on podcast streaming sites, such as Apple Music and Spotify.
